Endeavor, currently mybinder.io, was a simple, efficient and unique recruiting marketplace that benefited both employers and students.
In December 2013, Josh Inch and I were approached by co-founder, Alieu Terry, to develop the branding and user interface solutions. This included a top to bottom redesign of the entire user experience and user interface to make the service, and site more usable and intuitive.
Understanding the company
Endeavor was created to solve five basic student and employer problems.
More comprehensive insight than what is found on traditional job boards and resumes.
4. Academic to Professional Relevance
Connects the dots by providing an all-encompassing educational and professional note creation platform.
2. Skills Match
Administers assessments used to aid employers with the necessary information to make hiring decisions.
5. Access to Diverse Opportunities
Provides a diverse set of opportunities around the world through our partner relationships.
3. Haystack Problem
A 'fit score' allows employees to focus their time and energy on the right candidates amongst a sea of applicants.
During our initial redesign, our primary user focus was on students. We understood that students’ goals vary greatly and identified 4 scenarios to base our designs off of.
Has no particular interest. Feels obligated to find opportunities.
Goes on site specifically to find opportunities abroad.
Uses site as a networking tool.
Interested in following friends experiences as he thinks about studying abroad.
After countless late nights working, here are some snapshots of our process in designing Endeavor.

The final product
I am currently in the middle of putting together all 90+ pages of the redesign onto an invision app for others to browse. If this is a project you are incredibly intrigued by, shoot me an email and I can send you a pdf of all of the pages.
